An Introduction to Tourist

Tourist’s life ended at Lingfield Park on 15th February 2012. He was doing what he did best – racing on the All Weather. It was on that surface where he produced 6 of his 7 victories. At his peak he was rated 92 on the AW and although he never recaptured that level for his final owners, Stratford Bards Racing, he gave them the thrill of twice finishing fast and late to grab victory on the line. His attutide was an inspiration and example to both horse and human alike. He will be sorely missed.

Tuffers said: Tourist collapsed and died on the course today as a result of a heart attack. It's difficult to know what to write at a time like this but I shall post some of our memories of his all too brief time with us later on

Tuffers said: Tourist will take his chance tomorrow at Lingfield. Ryan will be instructed to give him the same ride as for both of his wins.
