Re: Zenyatta

Well she could eat an apple through a picket fence. I'm sure Zen being a young hip lady prefers something a bit more up to date but I guess Akon wasn't available

Re: Harbginer - Juddmonte option..

This is typical SMS smart thinking. If Harbinger can wina Group 1 over 1m2f up goes his shed value big time........he's got sod all to lose by running him. Some seem to be worried about the trip for Harbinger which seems a bit strage for ahorse with so much toe. Personally I think they are worrying ...

Re: Steedman

Yep, he's a professional and articulate presenter and his on screen manner suggests a very down to earth bloke (good people to deal with generally imo.) He's probably forgotten more about racing than I'll ever know, but thats not the point. Like the majority of his colleagues he avoids controversy ...

Re: King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes - 24 July 2010

I was also pondering on SMS and the sort of horses that he trains. Does he tend to buy youngsters that will be late developers or does he train them in such a way that they take time to realise their full potential? It actually a complete falacy Moe. As much as it may surprise some people Sir Micha...

Re: Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe 2010

Anyone know what St Nicholas Abbey is doing in the first week of October?! Was reading he's now back in work and doing very well. He is definitely the Joker in the pack and don't forget how highly they regard him....."This horse could walk on water" from a man who says very little says it...

Re: Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe 2010

Bit of a sweeping statement big man. He was a huge disaapointment behind another Godolphin horse Passion For Gold in his only Group 1 effort to date but he was given a more than tender ride when his chance had gone. He looked as green as a Scottish fir that day and was running all over everything in...

Re: Sussex Stakes

Amazing how easily Canford Cliffs travelled in this race. From the side on in the first half of the race if you didn't have the others around him you could swear he was having an excersice canter. Perhaps I shouldn't have asked for a comparison. At this time Canford Cliffs is every bit as good at wh...

Re: Sussex Stakes

ficticous book After comments like that Fist, do you really think I am going to bother to explain? If you'd come to Goodwood I could show you my "ficticous book". Don't worry about it Fist, you would not recognise value if it..... Explain what? how to lose your balls in one easy le...

Re: Sussex Stakes

Don't get it Ginge???? Rip Van Winkle is unfit so you according to your ficticous book make Canford Cliffs a better price than any bookmaker in the country? That simply doesn't make sense. Rip Van Winkle will come on for the run is just about what you can expect from AOB.....his rule of thumb when h...

Re: Times Mean Nothing

Seems Harbinger broke the track record which seems to be the in thing these days.........like in the Derby the pacemaker took a fair bit of passing lus both winners went very early which is probably why both track records went. You put a good pacemaker in a handicap and get an uninterupted run round...
