Watched an interesting programme on racing in Barbados.
It shows that horses can run in extreme temperatures without ill effects. The races look competitive and are run all year round. They apparently have a Group 1 race every year.
Their breeding stock seems somewhat limited. They have only been recording the breeding since the 1980's. Nice to see racing from different parts of the world. I attended two meetings in Trinidad a few years ago and the atmosphere was great. I suppose the sunshine helps!
