Can I ask the people who voted for Ffos Las, "how many have you have visited the course?

It's a worthy project and a mighty achievement; the racing surface seems to have been universally acclaimed as excellent and I wouldn't argue with that.

However, the facilities for the race-goer are nowhere near as well thought out.

Haven't tried the restaurant but the alternatives are few and basic.

Viewing from the steppings in front of the small stand is poor and the course is poorly served by public transport.

Having had two winners there I like the place. Only major fault it has is most mobiles don`t work and this can be a real problem.
The local salt marsh lamb is delicious in the rest. Pretty sure Colin Owen will sort out any other shortcomings and brilliant that they raced there in Dec when everyone else was off.

Agreed - but even more perverse, somebody actually has voted for Kempton - must be Glenn, otherwise he would have nothing to post about

Maybe it was the BHA and Nichols Paul, who are effusive about the place in the RP today

Kempton as a jumps track and venue is one of the very best around for me. And the customer service for memmbers (after i lost my badge...) is excellent

so there...

As for York, much as its a grand place am i the only one that thinks it has a dismal paddock? Pain to get to and from as well

Ffos Lass over Cheltenham, is this some kind of a joke?
