This is a system that I’ve touched on before and have finally got round to collecting all the data required to now give it a go. It is based on Formath’s theory of Adjusting the Handicap (see thread in this section). However, I’ve jiggled it about a bit so if it don’t work I can’t blame him :D

The only factor under consideration here is weight. I haven’t looked at anything else including the betting so I’m going to be backing every selection blind – at a basic rate of £2.00 Win & Place at BFSP.

10 March 2010
2.00 L - Epic
3.00 L - Captain Flack
4.00 L - Pha Mai Blue
4.30 L - Kings Sabre
4.30 L - Unlimited
5.35 L - Ardent Prince
6.30 W - Rulesnregulations
8.00 W - Forward Feline
8.00 W - Pachakutek
8.30 W - A Nod And A Wink
8.30 W - Sion Hill
9.00 W - Ella Woodcock

I'm going to change the staking on this.

I planned to use my Mrs's BF account for this (I'm not putting this rubbish on mine) and thought she only had a few quid in it however there is a couple of hundred so the staking plan is:

£2.00 Basic Stake Win & Place + £1.00 added to any following races where no profit is shown - if the the following race has more than 1 runner the added £1.00 is spilt between all selection.

Thanks Billion, but I'm currently still in a state of 'Shock and Awe' after Black Wednesday - not one single horse placed :?

I need a few days to recover :D

Why is it when confidence is high enough to warrent posting in open forum it then comes back to bite you.

Stick with it POMPETE if you believe there is something worthwhile and simply post a "wealth warning"
I wish you well . . . . billion

I can't say I'm completely over the shock of Black Wednesday but - easy come easy go, he who dares, in for a penny in for a few hundred quid, and all that. So here goes:

5.50 K - Gheed
6.20 K - Lunar Limelight
7.20 K - Steel City Boy
8.20 K - Oxford City
8.50 K - Striding Light
9.20 K - Jessica Wigmo

Current Loses - 120.00

Results
8.20 K Oxford City 2nd 7/1
8.50 K Striding Edge 1st 6/1

Current Losses 61.22

Following its continual drift on BF form 5.50ish to 18's - Jessica Wigmol was a 'No Bet'. Which was lucky as it was: Reluctant to go to post, reluctant to race, always behind, tailed off according to the RP.

Today
7.50 K Lucky Redback
8.20 K Zuwaar
8.50 K December
9.20 K Red Current
