Fely why is this race on a saturday normally it was a midweek race

And IMPERIAL MONARCH is my tip about time he raced at a 1m4 be even better.LAST TRAIN is the danger.

Eclipse,Meandre won race last year and i remember it was in midweek with other french races i remember backing Times up in a 1m7 and just getting beat it did.

So normally it is has been in midweek.

Andre Fabre has a fantastic record in the race so anything he aims at the race must warrant consideration although he saddles a third of the runners. The Prix du Jockey Club was a very messy race although horses have come out of the race and run with merit. Saint Baudolino will probably start PMU favourite after finishing runner-up in that race. Most of the field have yet to prove themselves over the trip, something that does not apply to Epsom runner-up Main Sequence. Lidari has won two races over the trip in the provinces but looked out-classed in the Noailles.

With no guarantee of a true pace it could be that Imperial Monarch will make the running. It will be the best place for him to avoid any trouble but Joseph has yet to show he can set good fractions.

I like Main Sequence but given his style of running I greatly fear he will not have the race run to suit him, I can see him getting trapped behind horses in the short home straight. I think it is a race to watch with a view to the Arc rather than to bet on tomorrow.

Big fan of Main Sequence, he reminds me of the big US chestnut Curlin. Hope he runs well here.
