This horse is turning into a bit of a phenomenon isn't he?
Did anyone see this one coming? Prior to his first hurdles win at Uttoxeter just over a month ago his form looked nothing special.
Now he's run 6 times since then, 4 times in the last 8 days (twice in 2 days!) and romped home first every time! 16f, 17f, 18 f, soft ground to good/firm, he doesn't seem to mind.
I know these have not been high value races but give him time, he's only 5!

Good grief! I now see he's down to run at Newton Abbot on the 19th!
I don't know where Tony Carroll is based, but that will mean in 12 days he'll have travelled to Devon, then Hereford, then the next day to Liverpool, now back down to Devon again!
Do you think they just keep him in the horsebox?
, he obviously likes it there!

You tend to get a few horses do this over the Summer, I remember a Venetia Williams horse (forget his name) do something similar last year....the competition isn't great, so why not turn out an in form horse quickly to get some decent prize money?! Bilidn is doing something similar over the flat, and Sir Mark Prescott is renowned for doing it,

Not your typical summer horse having won on all sorts of going........mad if they keep running him, he's way better than that and they should give him some off time.

Maybe he's a horse who thrives on more racing and will tear down the barn when given needless time off? I've known horses like that.

It will be interesting to see whether they are messing him up with all these runs, or have they found the key to his happiness? Hopefully the latter. I just think it's fascinating.
His form is really quite strange and erratic. An unexpected flat 3-y-o seller win, one hurdle win followed by not much, then won again on his first chase start (20f,G/F, after a 212 day break!). Then the poor lad took 2 chase falls in succession, which must have really knocked his confidence as he was pretty useless back over hurdles all through winter 2011/12.
Then suddenly he started winning and hasn't stopped since! So he must be a summer horse (though with the weather we've been having, how he knows it's summer I have no idea!)

11/8 was a great price yesterday - if it was trained by, for example, D Pipe or F Murphy you would have been looking at 2/5.
