With a second look at the 1000, I believe those who raced in rear had a big advantage. First 3 in the race coming from that position. Though 9/2 was a good price, worth a small lay back.

Delegator looks unbelievable value @ 14/1 with Paddy Power.
Cruised through this race and going away at the line. Better than distances suggest. Goes well on the likely firm surface. I'd rather there was a longer break between the two races, but can't have everything.

Probably be able to lay him back at half those odds nearer post time. I estimate his chance as a fair 13/2 chance!
