Too early for me to say really as the two I like are a bit of an uncertainty at the moment as I can see Dabirsim very well staying in France for their version of the 2000 and Harbour Watch had that setback although according to reports is 'recovery well'.

Wealth Warning season 2

Starting again from scratch will try and beat last summers efforts. My old pal Premio Loco is down to run in this winter derby on Saturday. He wouldnt be out of place if he was running the week after on the Dubai World Cup night. He loves the firm surface has won 2/3 on the track and if he can get a good position it shouldn't matter if the pace isn't as strong as he likes but even better if they go from the outset. I'm slightly concerned that he hasn't had a run prior but the chap in racing outlook reckons he goes well after a long break.

Winter Derby - PREMIO LOCO 4/1, £10.00 win.

A good piece of tactical riding from Baker won the day. Peeeeeed off I missed the 7's but a win is a start.

+£40.00

I like the look of Cirrus Des Aigles in the Sheema Classic tomorrow, he had a spin a few weeks back which hopefully will have put him in good shape, I think Beaten Up is short enough for what he's achieved and could be a bit over-hyped and St Nicholas Abbey will have question marks over fitness if believed that Aiden likes his horses to find their feet in their own time.

Margot Did's run a few weeks back will also have giving the cobwebs a good blowing away and will be interesting to see how she goes.

Will wait till the morning to have a bet.

Cheers Superman.

Those Indians

Mr Richard Hughes however will be back in time to partner Harbour Watch to glory in the Irish Guineas and St James Palace stakes not to mention your friend Strong Suit. :)

Big chief said nothing about Indians. Indians said nothing to big Chief. However, if the other Indian man stop Richard Hughes from winning the July Cup on Strong Suit, my tribe will rise against them. How !

Ladbrokes and bet365 are going 4 places in the Sprint so I'll take a chance on Margot being the fastest horse on the planet......

Meydan Sprint - MARGOT DID 12/1, £5.00 each/way 1,2,3,4, 1/4 odds.

Margot ran ok but it now seems she does not want it tooo fast. Cirrus won a cracker.

+£60.00

Going in for one of my favourites today in Dandino at Nottingham. Ground not ideal but I don't think it will be too much of a negative as he has the class to overcome it, ran with credit in Group 1 against St Nicholas Abbey last term after making the running and becoming a sitting duck. Has gone well fresh at this time of year the past 2 years(does that count for anything with a new trainer? :? ) Fallon on board is a bonus.

'Further Flight' Stakes - DANDINO 10/3, £10.00 win (bog)

I hope your gardening skills are better than your math. If you include your stake as part of a loss, then you should add them to any win. Basically you're more ahead than you state. Do you have any fancys for the classics beechegrove garden boy ?

Superman, I've given up on this gardening lark for now, the sunflowers we planted grew about an inch even the the kid next door has a bigger one.... (sunflower that is)

As for the math.

Premio Loco £10 stake £50 return 4/1 won
Cirrus Des Aigles £10 stake return £40 won 3/1
Margot Did £10 stake return zip
Dandino £10 stake return zip

Total stake £40 total return £90 = +£50.00

The only thing I fancy is in the French Guineas, Dabirsim I reckon even the powerful forces of Superman will not be able to stop him. :D

Oops a daisy. I thought stakes were included as part of the returns. As for Darbisim, i can't see that winning the French 2000 guineas. I might even be tempted to lay him on the machine if he's short enough, and i don't even know if i've layed a horse before...maybe once or twice.

arghhhhh ahhhh must...stop....darbisim from getting...arghhh...a mile. Lay him.
