We now have a 'Like' button which will appear on every post. So, if you like a post, just click the 'Like' button. You can change your mind and remove your 'Like' later.
It is anonymous (people don't know who has/hasn't liked their post) so no need to worry about offending anyone.
Let me know if any problems with it.
David

...with some of the crap I and other's write, a 'thumbs down' option would have been nice too...

I'm not a great fan of 'Like' buttons and definitely would hate to have a 'thumbs down' option.
'Thumbs down' would only encourage those who have an axe to grind against others to troll through certain peoples posts leaving negative feedback most of the time for no good reason and remaining anonymous at the same time
If people 'Like' a post they have the oportunity to post a response rather than just click on the icon, same if they dislike a post .. just respond and explain why.
I prefer TRF just the way it is, but prepared to give it a try

They have a similar thing on You Tube, only they have a dislike button too. If you're doing one then you've got to have the other.
RedRum77 well ahead-

Once again I find myself agreeing with Triptych, but I won't "like" her & I hope Jac doesn't take it personally!

CP - Mr P can be relied on to chime in occasionally. You can clock him at least twice a year. In fact, you can almost set your watch by it. Some would say he's a little cuckoo, but we love him nonetheless.

Chime, clock, watch, cuckoo. I saw what you did there

*cough* You seem to have forgotten to click the like thingy.
These things are important.

I tried several times yesterday and earlier today, Mr Pilsen, but it didn't work.

I do not "like" it. Will not use it (though admit I have already been tempted once, because I thought a post was amusing. Quickly pulled myself up short!)
Why does everything now have to be "shared" on Facebook, Twitter, whatever? Who, apart from racing fans, is interested? We who are interested have our forum, and other similar forums if we wish to ask a question or express an opinion on horse-racing matters, so what's the point of putting it out there to people who have no interest whatsoever?
I am heartily sick of every website I connect with lately asking me if I want to log-in or "share" with Facebook or whatever. Of course I don't! I am merely making an enquiry for my own personal interest and/or reasons.
