As for Sea the Stars, there's a link on Talkinghorses to a photo of him with his mum on the day he was born. Everything about him makes me well up with tears, even now. I can remember the first mention of him on this forum [sadly when his mum died] and I followed him throughout his 3 year old campaign because of that. What strikes me about him looking at photos is his beautiful head. Wish I'd been at York or Longchamp to see him in the flesh. Have got Sean Magee's book about him; interesting that Sean, who has such a love for the great Arkle, should hold Sea the Stars in such high esteem. Not many flat horses touch my heart in that way.
