Betlarge – if it was a Championship game I’d be with you but given it was the highest profile game of the year the stewards are very likely to apply
discretion
and ‘overlook’ several of the cracks. Joey clearly had a chat with D.Jacob who’d have given him the nod on that one.
But I thought he did give several of the others
time to respond,
although none of them looked up for it really, although Balotelli might have given it a go if not handled with restraint at the back of the field.
It was a relief that City won, otherwise the thorny issue of allowing the transgressor to keep the race may have raised its head again.
I know that modern day boot studs are air-cushioned but that doesn’t go far enough IMO, I’d ban them entirely and replace with plimsolls.
