I like Graham Cunningham; or should I say, I admire his ability to recall and recite the facts and figures pertaining to each horse’s form in any given race.
That said, his rapid fire, loquacious approach, needs to be brought down a notch or two. The machine gun like delivery can over-empower the listener’s senses at times and I did get the impression that he seemed a little nervous on his Channel 4 bow and was maybe trying a little bit too hard.
Nevertheless, he is a fine addition to the team and unlike the mealy mouthed Mr. Francome, he won’t hold back when criticism is due.
