Not sure where you get that from TAPK as Nicholls has already stated that Tidal Bay definitely heads there and he’s rated 3lb superior to Albertas Run – with not much set to change between now and the weights being published.
Tidal Bay could conceivably win a Gold Cup between now and April and if he did would he be allowed to go off at 25/1 ?
Considering he’s an intended runner the best price 25/1 on offer is fantastic value IMO.
Just look how he destroyed the Whitbread field off top weight (admittedly from a considerably lower mark).
Top novice, loses way, then regains form and wins National. It certainly wouldn’t be the first time.
Andrea & Graham Wylie are 6/1 with Betfred to win the race and while that’s only a fair reflection of their combined current best odds on offer they do hold an extremely strong hand;
