Gord my best AP bets for festival are below

SIR DES CHAMPS 20/1 RSA
SIMONSIG 14S To win neptune
SIZING EUROPE 5/1 Champion chase.Only found ticket 6weeks ago in the bottom of the draw i forget i did the bet

GET ME OUT OF HERE 16/1 Coral cup.
BINOCULAR 12/1 to win champion hurdle

What you think of GOING WRONG in the novices handicap on day 1 looks a Ferdy Murphy plot i read Davy Russell may be on him to.

And any horses you looking forward to seeing going chasing next year.SIMONSIG will win the arkle all this caper over Sprinter Sacre they be going even madder on this SIMONSIG next year when he jumps fences.

Hope your wrong on SS Gord, and I think you are! You seem just as determind to not see the obvious and to get him beat...same as you were with Frankel  ...we'll find out soon, can't wait!

Well said Pants! You are right! Hands up about 'Frankel' at 6/4 for the 2000gns but I was bang on about him at 2/1 for the Derby! Sprinter Sacre v Al Ferof would appear the clash in the Arkle but I do have the utmost respect for both 'Menorah' and 'Cue Card'. I'm happy to lay the 'Ive actually achieved NOTHING Sprinter Sacre' at the prices.Lay of the meeting! He's still lacking experience both mentally and physically imo.

Batonnier has RSA written all over him already darren! 'Simonsig' we'll see what he finds off the bridle first!

David Bass at the Newbury Cheltenham Preview was a bit concerned how much Simonsig will find up the hill.

I backed Simonsig for the Supreme (got out just in time). But I wouldn't back him at today's price for the longer event. However, Barry Geraghty believes the slower pace will help his jumping. Hope he wins for you Darren, great value there.

Your right Gord he has achieved nowt so far but and is too short in price now but like all the potential greats in any field he has to match up to the hype...even The Stranglers had to start somewhere with it all to prove & like them this worse will!

As for Simonsig, he'd be my lay of the meeting, same as Sprinter though he's time will come...

A huge sigh of relief knowing my RSA banker runs in nothing else,he's not there yet and he's certainly not won....Yet! When you're sitting on a pile of Ante-Post vouchers with 20/1 plastered all over them its a great feeling to know you have read connections minds in anticipating a target months and in this case a year in advance of First lieutenant adding the RSA to his Neptune Victory! It will be on a par with my 'Harbinger' winning the King George at 25/1 bet I put up on here after he finished last to 'Monitor Closely' at York 11 months before his finest hour! I'm confident! 8)

Confidence is one thing, over-confidence another.

Am on Grands Crus @ 8/1 and 6/1, and Bobs Worth at 10/1.
But having backed both Long Run and Time For Rupert for the RSA in previous years...

The eternal Pessimist! You will probably end up with five horses running for you Ginge, whereas I am going into battle with a single bullet loaded in my chamber in this one,I'll let my First Lieutenant pull the trigger! 8)

Sorry darren i missed this one! Going Wrong like you say looks extremely well placed as he has been all season, its a 0-140 Handicap and he gets in off 139,I still haven't nailed my colours to anything in this one yet as it looks incredibly tricky.Your horse will certainly get considered as my final selection, particularly if there's a bit of money,Davy Russell riding for his old Boss eh.....Very interesting mate! :)

2 days of twiddling my thumbs till the Greatest show on earth! Its a shame that trainers and their connections fail to realise just how much 'their' sport relies on the scum of the earth! THE PUNTER !Without us there would be No horseracing,we support our favourite 'horses/Trainers/Jockeys' with our hard earned cash!In return it would be nice to know just what race our horses are actually going to run in,its not much to ask! But No they would like to keep such information to themselves! Any trainer who says 'I dont Know which race he'll run in yet' doesn't deserve a license, they have known for months! David Pipe will say 'Grand Cru's' was always going for the RSA when he finally gets round to confirming it,why keep it from the Public, the horse has never been bigger than 3/1 for the race but it certainly puts punters off committing to him when there's every chance he could go for Gold! Its the same with 'Sir des Champs' they know damn well he's a 'Jewson' sort but No we'll keep the public in the dark over his target and now Get me out of here keeps attracting support for the wrong bloody race (County Hurdle) surely he's not running in both? Not even I expect him to win on the bridle on Wednesday and come out again on Friday!! Do I?
