Find Ken/Rik Burns documentaries totally enthralling [the one about the Donner party was fascinating, as was the one about Coney Island]; the only problem being that there’s something very relaxing [even described by the Observer as ‘hypnotic’] about them, so I tend to fall asleep half way through and then have to watch them again . Mind you, am also fascinated by what this thread is about. Am wondering how many Scientologists are interested in racing [especially given their obsession with success of all kinds]. Did you know that the members of The Incredible String Band, that most hippy of groups, became Scientologists?
