Maybe they have better better horses at home. By Galileo (Average Winning Distance 11.1f) out of a mare by Slip Anchor (Average Winning Distance 12.5f). He has a Dosage Profile of 3-0-10-9-4, giving a Dosage Index of 0.44 and a Centre of Distribution of -0.42. That’s two of many different clues to stamina, but both say he looks more like a stayer than anything else. There is not much speedy blood at all in the first three generations, but there are quite a few stamina inflences. It seems reasonable to give him try at two miles, especially if they think they have faster horses for the 12f races.
