A clutch of intriguing looking Derby entries for next year………

Sea Here

Sired by the legendary Sea The Stars, out of Oaks heroine Look Here. Could be ready-made for Epsom glory if breeding’s anything to go by. Ralph Beckett trains again.

Entiqaam

Another by Sea The Stars out of Guineas 2nd Cuis Ghaire, herself a talented miler sired by Galileo. Exciting prospect if Dermot Weld can manage him well.

Mystic Blue

Will be trained in France by Mikel Delzangles with a fair profile to his name. Sired by Monsun and the dam, Millionaia(by Peintre Celebre), finished 2nd in the Diane in a 4 race career.

Munaaser

Hamdan Al Maktoum has a decent looking list of 2 year olds on paper and this Sir Michael Stoute trained colt could be another. Sired by New Approach and out of a mediocre but well related dam, this could be an interesting looking Guineas type.

Hydrogen

Galileo colt and half-brother to Authorized. What hasn’t already been said about him though :|

Friendship

Another by Galileo. The dam is a dual Grade 1 winning mare over 10 furlongs from America by Cityscape’s sire Selkirk. Interesting newcomer from Ballydoyle.

Almuhalab

I said it before and I’ll say it again, a potentially fascinating year ahead for Al Maktoum and co with this first colt out of star Guineas filly Ghanaati. Charlie Hills takes the honour of training the Dubawi colt.

Right, who’s for a classic winner?
