AL kazeem kept the race and that was the correct decision, the rider of the 2nd admitted he would only have got 2nd place if he had’ent had to snatch up. The two cases are completely different.
Andyod and others don’t think so.
A blanket rule to disqualify horses who interfere with others in the closing stages of a race is just a ridiculous idea.
Once again, as in the Al Kazeem race, i thought there was an unlucky loser but the winning jockey did little wrong – whip in the correct hand. Elusive Kate drifted over, as she tends to.
In this case, though, i think the placings should have been switched, with no disqualifications or punishment for connections of Elusive Kate.
