When I was little I drew lots of pictures of horses on sheets of paper and, each day I had to decide which one I was going to ride that day when I went to the corner shop. I’ve got a feeling there was something similar in National Velvet as well. I know one of ‘my horses’ was called Arabian Night and it was a grey.
