No hard feelings at all baw heed. No hard feelings that i backed him on the 8th December 2012, and you put him up on January 25th 2013
. Onto Hillstar, i had a small token bet. I got 66/1 on 11th June 2013. Infact, no i didn’t, i actually got 12/1 today. I see him finishing ahead of Trading Leather, but not good enough to actually win the race. The plus is that he came far back in the Ascot race, but the negative will obiously be the 3 y/o over here don’t look up to a great deal, especially over 10-12f. I simply don’t know how much improvement there is in him, but to beat SNA there is going to have to be alot.
You know and I are not too dissimilar on many fronts Wolf. It did take me to Google ‘baw heed’ however to know what you were talking about, you don’t mince your words do you old boy
You’re right in saying that this year’s classic generation don’t look up to much, but in saying that can you really include
Hillstar
in that bracket given that he wasn’t rushed along into either Derby as much as he was raced progressively. Only time will tell anyway.
I tell you what sir, to bury the hatchet on this score, if either
Hillstar
wins this weekend or
Un Atout
lands me an almighty gamble and wins the Jewson, how about a crate of Irn Bru on me?
