in ‘my stable’ for some time now, having heard he’s the best of the Hannon 2 year old crop. The rain is falling at Goodwood as we speak which can only be good news, as I’d heard he’s been waiting for a bit of juice in the ground before his next outing. As Nath eluded to in his thread, the 9/4 on offer with Paddy Power won’t be around long so I thought I’d throw on a cheeky score for a bit of interest.

There was a lot to like about Toormore’s debut win. The first two pulled clear the second has won 6 lengths since and another couple of winners have come out of the race. Normally it would look suicidal opposing a Coventry second placed with a maiden winner but the Coventry form has taken a few rattles and before Garswood’s win today, you would have worried about Fahey’s record at the track.
I’ll probably stick a soapy bubble on this fellow and Excess Knowledge in the Gordon Stakes, where he is about 5/2.
