Agreed Bruce, but if Montaff is balloted out its money back so I'd take the risk GDC,I have backe the dark horse Montivado at 12/1 myself,he's a big strapping galloping sort trained by an old maestro,'Mount Athos' has to be placed but 'Never Can Tell' wont be running if the ground stays Soft.I wont be backing the hold up horse 'Deauville flyer' this year either.Totally exposed now imo.

Dropped markedly in the ratings after running on the wrong ground, shrewd connections? Maybe primed for a very big run mate 8)

Will you be on Deauville Flyer again

Great minds! I put this in my thread a few weeks ago, I'm on at 16s which I think is a bit on the skinny side considering his poor form this season, but I think this course and ground suits him. Is clearly tough to win with but is worth a chance.

Some data I've put together for Northumberland Plate, took about 15 minutes so I might put some descriptive data if I get the time.

(Pace Graph - 1 = Led, 2 = Prominent, 3 = Held Up)

Strange but True!

TAPK do you know that Forgotten Voice is under the tender care of Nicky Henderson, as a fellow who deals in foresight I suggest you ring up bookmakers for some odds on the horse for the Champion Hurdle.

I've already been quoted a price but I've got a high profile so they aren't willing to lose their balls which is why I'm asking you for a favour to see what they quote you?

Thanks

I think it's because he's made the cut rather than any significant support - field is now 45 from 74, Ermyn Lodge is out, Sam Hitchott booked for the ride and only need 1 more to drop out to make the frame with Thimaar, Steps To Freedom, Old Hundred, Never Can Tell, Address Unknown and Mystery Star still without any jockey bookings.

I'd like to think Never Can Tell will take her chance as she'd be the one to beat for me along with Merchant Of Dubai.

Spoke to Bet365 tonight and they have offered me 33/1 to £250 e/w! That seems a bit shy to me for a 7yo horse who has never jumped a twig and will have turned 8yo come the day,he never got a yard over a mile either. The horse wont have run for near on a 1000 days if he were to return and statistically that profile doesn't shout Champion Hurdle to me.What with Darlan and Spirit Son in the same stable I'll sit comfortably with my Ante-Post vouchers on those 2 thanks 'Delboy'! :D I'm looking forward to you putting a 'High profile' winner up! Now where have we met before? :?
