Slightly biased because I backed him but I can’t see why anyone would think it was a fluke. It strikes me that the Coventry Stakes is a race that is increasing in stature and a number of better 2yos are also appearing earlier in the season so I can understand the short price for the Guineas. You could easily argue that he should be considerably shorter than Kingman who at the moment is priced up primarily on hype. The big fear I would have with War Command would surround O’Brien steering him safely to the race. If he just had the one star to train it might be a different story.
Looking more liking to be a fluke now
