I am a glutton for punishment with these suicide sprints but only for lowish stakes. Baccarat has been all the rage, in from an opening 8/1 to as low as 9/2. That is way too low for me and I’ll leave that to the lemmings and shorty backers. I mean, yes sir he can boogie

I opted for Louis The Pious each-way, he was 12/1 yesterday and is still decent at 10/1 I think, but I wouldn’t take lower. He was third last year and has a decent level of win and place runs for the type of horse he is. He ran quite well (7th) in the Stewards Cup and is drawn in stall 4 which is close to others prominent in the betting Spinatrix (stall 1) and Pearl Ice (stall 3)
Should be the usual hard luck stories all round afterwards but happy punting!!
