Beuatiful picture Hammy, we've woken up to fog here in The Black Country!

Bostin' photo Hammy, I was still catching zeds at 5.20 though.
Pants is right, although its really sunny here in West Brom because we're fairly high up, Sandwell Valley is shrouded in fog.

Yeah unfortunately being a builder and suffering permanently from severe back pain I seldom get much more than five hours sleep. The only bonus is I get plenty of early morning photo opportunities. Been up since before four and now I've got to go and lay some paving slabs for a friend. (Unpaid.
Glad you liked the picture too Reetlas and Pants. Hopefully I'll get another chance tomorrow morning too.

I'm not an early riser like you, Hammy but I'll also be enjoying the sunshine at the top of the gallops in about an hour.
'And Desert Orchid's beginning to get up as they race towards the line... Simon Sherwood punches the air. Dessie's done it...

Very nice pic, keep 'em coming.
So we will batten down the hatches, throw the children overboard, lock up anyone who protests and continue to elect liars who double cross us. Another day in the Banana Republic.

Thanks hammy I have a lovely new desktop screen saver, and can now be reminded of all the little horseys running around.

The picture is a bit noisy and it is a very small file size for ease of hosting. If you'd like a bigger file (Better resolution.) I'd be more than happy to e-mail one.
The only thing missing from the picture is a couple of nice horse silohuettes (Never could spell that word.
Thanks to Jonibake and C. Ramparte for the positive comments, they're very much appreciated.

Great atmospheric pic Hammy. Like the old and the new. Those rails at the front look like the wooden/concrete ones - trick of the light transports us back through decades . . .
Never argue with an idiot. He'll drag you to his level and beat you with experience, and onlookers won't be able to tell who is who.

Love the picture Hammy, that long lost friend stayed around all day to cheer us up at the races, all my horses were so happy to see it they put on their swimsuits and sunshades and decided to take the day off from winning
Keep those great shots coming, very atmospheric, you can almost feel that any moment you will see a string of racehorses come into view stretching their legs on the gallops
